Upcoming solo exhibitions, posted in January 2026

Two Hartmann exhibitions will take place in Brandenburg in the summer of 2026.

The exhibition “Tiere von Welt“ at the Modemuseum Schloss Meyenburg explores fashion from the early 20th century, including feathered hats and boas, crocodile leather handbags, and furs from various animal species. Klaus Hartmann will integrate paintings into the collection—among them depictions of birds and crocodiles—which will be presented alongside historical objects together with taxidermied animals. One focus is on the great egret, which was hunted on a massive scale for the hat industry and nearly driven to extinction. In addition, the beginnings of the animal welfare movement are addressed through historical documents.

At the same time, the exhibition “Along the New Road” at the Kunstraum Neuruppin presents drawings of houses in rural regions of East Africa in combination with African landscape paintings. The viewer adopts the perspective of a driver who perceives houses and small shops while passing by.

Please keep up to date.

The seventh and final group exhibition, titled "Alles" features over 200 artists. The rooms are filled to the ceiling with small-format works of art.
